About Us

Kids Can CAD Academy (KCC) offers CAD (Computer-Aided Designing) After School and Summer Camp programs for kids in grades 3rd-12th. Our hands-on S.T.E.A.M (Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts and Math) courses offer an introduction to the fundamentals of 3D design and 3D printing technology. KCC Academy lets students work on age appropriate projects and learn how to use CAD software to design just about anything they can imagine. Once their design is complete, they learn how to use 3D printers to bring their designs to life.
We inspire young kids to pursue careers in science, engineering, and the arts, by providing an environment where they can exp0lore their creativity in design. Our passionate team of engineers and educators believe that awesome technology education should be available to all kids, so they can grow exponentially through S.T.E.A.M.

Concept

KCC partners with school districts, private schools and YMCA’s to offer our courses through them. Our partners provide the classrooms (and in some cases the computers/laptops), and they also advertise our courses to the parents. Kids Can CAD Academy hires qualified instructors to teach the curriculum for each course and we 3D print the student’s projects. The following are current course offerings:
1. Tinker Engineer (I) - Grades 3-5
2. Tinker Engineer (II) - Grades 6-8
3. 3D Modeling

Franchisees get the satisfaction of making a positive difference in their community as they empower youth and work with local schools.

Training

Initial training includes go-to market planning, organizational planning, site selection, business development, marketing, hiring, operations, technology setup, program administration, management, and customer relations. You will also receive ongoing support because we want you to succeed.

Opportunity

The inception of some franchises is built out of necessity, some desire and some sheer love of the concept. Rarely do you find a franchise that encompasses all these elements equally. More than ever, a high-quality math and science education is the foundation for opportunity. Yet, millions of students across the country live in S.T.E.A.M deserts – school communities without access to rigorous and engaging math and science courses. Our vision is for our program to reach as many kids as possible, especially in urban and rural communities, where access to high-level math and science courses is often out of reach.
